Grave

An excavated plot of land in a cemetery or churchyard where a coffin is buried. Graves can be single-depth (one burial) or double-depth (two burials stacked). Grave purchase costs £1,000-£2,500 in the UK, plus interment fees (£500-£1,000). Some graves are leased for 25-99 years rather than purchased outright.
